new_york_times_logoOn May 28, in a feature article about visiting the National Parks, The New York Times had this to say about ACT Campground, after reporting on the phenomenon of “glamping,” (glamor camping):

“Or, see how the other half camps at the ACT Campground and Learning Center near Moab, designed in part by an environmental engineer and wastewater specialist. Its “Act Responsibly, Sleep Comfortably” motto emphasizes minimalism, especially when it comes to waste at its R.V. and tent sites, small cabins, clubhouse, community kitchen and learning center, where the owners organize bio-geology classes, field adventures, photography tours and writing workshops.”
